Lindiwe Mathebula
Lindiwe Mathebula serves as a senior manager of public transportation integration at the Gautrain Management Agency. With a robust background in civil engineering and a master's degree in transportation engineering, she is also a licensed Professional Engineer and a certified Project Management Professional.
In her current role, Lindiwe oversees a strategic partnership model aimed at revolutionizing and commercializing South Africa's minibus taxi industry. This initiative not only seeks to enhance public transport integration but also aims to foster socio-economic development.
Her aspirations are deeply rooted in ethical leadership, economic progress, and the empowerment of women. In recognition of her efforts, she was nominated as a 2021 Women in Transport Rising Star and has received the Academic Honorary Colours Award for excellence. Additionally, her master's thesis earned her the Best Paper Award.
