Doris Komla

Doris Komla is a creative leader and advocate pursuing a Master’s in Education (Ed.M.) in Education Leadership, Organization, and Entrepreneurship at the Harvard Graduate School of Education, focusing on Arts and Learning. As the founder of Arts in Medicine Ghana and the Rivers Art Foundation, Doris uses the arts to support neurodivergent learners and improve community well-being, particularly for children with disabilities. Her work blends art, education, and health to drive change in underserved communities. Doris has organized impactful art therapy sessions and exhibitions, focusing on mental health and emotional well-being. She is also a member of the 2024-2025 David Martin Graduate Student Leadership Forum, where she continues to expand her leadership in supporting creative industries across Africa.

Doris is a 2024-2025 CAS Education and Outreach Scholar, working to design African area studies curriculum for K-14 U.S. classrooms.
