The HKS Africa Caucus and HBS Africa Business Club are co-hosting the first-ever sneak peak of Stand With Congo's new film. Stand With Congo is an inclusive social movement hub uniting activists, civil society leaders, techies, private sector innovators, and other global citizens with the Congo peace movement. Produced by a joint Congolese and international crew, this short documentary begins with the Congo conflict, corruption, and the western media narrative, turning then to focus on the growing private sector innovators, nonviolent pro-democracy movement leaders, and the hopes and efforts of the Congolese people. This event is part of Africa Week, an opportunity to celebrate the strides which have been made by HBS students, past and present, in shaping business both in Africa and around the globe.
