04:00PM - 09:00PM EST

Are you thinking about taking an African language next year? Have you already studied one at Harvard, or do you speak one at home? Maybe there’s simply a language you’ve always wanted to learn.

Join NSA and the Harvard Center for African Studies for a special Buna Break featuring African Language Tables. Students will have the chance to practice languages they already know, learn a few new phrases, and connect with others through conversation, culture, and coffee.

Whether you are a current language student, a heritage speaker, or completely new to the language, stop by for a bit and join the conversation.

About Buna Break
Buna Break was launched in 2024 as a space for students to connect, recharge, and build community over African coffee. Each session begins with student-focused programming and continues with a late-night study lounge.
