Ancient Nubia at the Boston Museum of Fine Arts

The Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, is home to the finest collection of Ancient Nubian art outside of Khartoum. On October 15^th, 1-2:30 pm, Rita Freed, Curator Emerita, will visit the Hutchins Center to present “GilsAncient Nubia at the Boston Museum of Fine Arts” and show some of her favorites in this 25,000 object collection. Following that, she hopes to engage us in a discussion of how this material might best be showcased and used as a vehicle for empowerment.
