The CAS Student Ambassadors program provides student leadership opportunities in outreach, visibility, and engagement with Africa-related scholarship and activities across the University. 

Key Roles

Student Ambassadors serve as visible, informed, and approachable ambassadors of the Harvard Center for African Studies. 

  • Promote CAS outreach efforts
  • Engage with student support initiatives
  • Support social media management
  • Assist with CAS events
  • Liaise with the undergraduate and graduate student community

Time Commitment

Ambassadors are appointed each semester with the possibility of renewal. Successful ambassadors engage with CAS approximately 2-3 hours per week.

We welcome applications from undergraduate and graduate students across Harvard. Submit our interest form by Tuesday, September 15th.
