Rediet Alemu is a sophomore in Leverett House. She is concentrating in Psychology with a secondary in African Studies and a language citation in Swahili. She was born and raised in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, and she is a proud African and a pan-Africanist. On campus, she currently serves as the Vice President of the African Students Association. Additionally, she is on the Fiction Board for The Women’s Issue. In her free time she enjoys listening to Afro Beats and Reggae, dancing (Ethiopian and West-African), writing realistic fiction and making sarcastic jokes. She is very excited to join the team of interns at CAS, and hopes to serve as a resource to anyone who seeks insight into the world of Harvard, college applications, or CAS.
