He has also worked as a clinical case management consultant for the WHO’s Ebola response in Beni, Democratic Republic of Congo, and was seconded the Africa CDC to support its COVID-19 response. His work focuses on biosocial approaches to epidemic disease prevention, containment, and treatment, as well as the health impacts of climate change. As part of these efforts, he was selected as an NIH Climate and Health Scholar and serves as co-chair of the </span><a href="https://www.rodneycommission.org/"><span lang="EN-US" dir="ltr">Walter and Patricia Rodney Commission on Reparations</span></a><span lang="EN-US" dir="ltr">.&nbsp;</span></p><p><span><strong>If you are in Cambridge/Boston, we encourage you to join us in the Seminar Room at the Center for African Studies.
