DESCRIPTION:<p>Derek Hook is an Associate Professor of Psychology at Duquesne University, Pittsburgh. He will present “Petrified life – post–apartheid temporality.” Mark Geraghty, Postdoctoral Fellow at the Harvard University Mahindra Humanities Center, will be the discussant.</p><p>A week in advance, the presenter’s paper will be circulated through the Harvard African Studies Workshop listserv.
