TENURE-TRACK PROFESSOR IN HISTORY AND AFRICAN AND AFRICAN AMERICAN STUDIES

Position Description: The Departments of History and African and African American Studies seek to appoint a tenure-track professor in the History of Modern Africa (focus on sub-Saharan Africa, field open). The appointment is expected to begin on July 1, 2023. The tenure-track professor will be responsible for teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
Basic Qualifications: Doctorate or terminal degree in History or related discipline required by the time the appointment begins.
Additional Qualifications: Demonstrated strong commitment to teaching and advising is desired.
