Understanding China’s Rising Role in Africa: A discussion amongst classmates

April 5, 2013 @ 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Please join us for a casual discussion amongst classmates on China’s role in Africa. Although China has had a long history of involvement with Africa, we have seen the level and intent of China’s role there evolve over the past decade. Henry L. Stimson Professor of Law, Bill Alford, will join us to moderate the discussion and graduate students from four of the graduate schools will join us to discuss their work in this area.

The first 15 minutes will be reserved for networking amongst the students and faculty over coffee and dessert — we will begin the discussion around 1:15pm.
