Tech in Africa Forum

Date:

Saturday, November 9, 2019, 3:30pm to 6:00pm

Location:

Leverett House Theater (28 DeWolfe St, Cambridge, MA 02138)

In the last two decades, technology has been redefining the economies across the globe. This new revolution has been highlighted mostly in developed nations through the integration of technology in every major industry. What has not been making headlines, however, is the role that technology is playing on the African continent in industries like trading, education, healthcare, transportation, and banking. It is for this reason that the Harvard Africa Business and Investment Club (HABIC) is hosting the Tech in Africa Forum. Our guests have had first-hand experience with the role that tech is playing on the continent and will share the insights with us. We will discuss the work that is being done in different industries and the potential of tech in Africa in the next decade. The event will be on Saturday, November 9th from 3:30 pm - 6 pm, at the Center for African Studies. Tickets are limited so make sure to reserve one asap to this link http://bit.ly/2W08Dxh
