Student Lunch with Dr. Christian Happi

Academic Ventures at the Radcliffe Institute for Advanced Study and the Harvard University Center for African Studies present a student lunch with Dr. Christian Happi, Professor of Molecular Biology and Genomics, Director of the African Center of Excellence for Genomics of Infectious Diseases, and Director of the Directorate of Research Innovations and Partnerships at Redeemer’s University in Nigeria. Students must register here.

Dr. Happi's research focuses on human genomics, molecular biology, and genomics of infectious diseases, especially malaria, viral hemorrhagic fevers, and HIV. His laboratory confirmed the first case of Ebola virus disease in Nigeria in the 2014 outbreak. This lunch is held in association with the Radcliffe science symposium, "Contagion: Exploring Modern Epidemics."
