Rama S. Mehta Lecture: (Why) Reporting the Voices of African Women and Girls Matters

The Rama S. Mehta Lecture at the Radcliffe Institute for Advanced Study was established in memory of Rama S. Mehta. Each event includes a distinguished woman in public affairs, the sciences, or the arts who has a deep understanding of the problems of women in developing countries. 

The 2018-2019 Rama S. Mehta Lecture will be given by National Public Radio’s Ofeibea Quist-Arcton. Arcton is a reporter who works in a variety of settings: educational institutions, urban and village settings, creative spaces and sacred places. Her lecture, entitled, (Why) Reporting the Voices of African Women and Girls Matters, is open and free to the public.
