Join us on Tuesday, June 16th at 1:00pm as we explore African responses to COVID-19 in the latest edition of our virtual series:

International Exchange In a Time of Isolation.

"Pan African Responses to COVID-19" focuses on the experiences of alumni of the State Department-sponsored International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) who visited Boston this past February to discuss their professional work in investigative journalism and research.

With a dynamic range of questions from their own personal experiences with COVID-19 to reflections on government responses, the panel will feature:

  • Charmaine Ngatijheue of Namibia
  • Mina Nader of Egypt
  • Joseph Joshua Mwale of Malawi
  • Ernesto Nhatsumbo of Mozambique
  • Mwila Chansa of Zambia

The event will be moderated by Christopher Wilson of the Emerson College Department of Journalism.
