Program of African Studies at Northwestern UniversityAfriSem in the Program of African Studies at Northwestern University is pleased to announce that on Tuesday, June 1, at 11 am (CDT), we will be hosting a second discussion panel titled "Navigating the Global Job Market for Africanists.”

Our panelists will share their experience on how to navigate the global academic job market before and after obtaining a Ph.D.

Our panelists include:

  • Priscilla Adipa (Ph.D. in Sociology, Assistant Professor in Humanities and Social Sciences, International University of Grand-Bassam, Côte d'Ivoire)
     
  • Kofi Takyi Asante (Ph.D. in Sociology, Research Fellow at the Institute of Statistical, Social and Economic Research, University of Ghana)
     
  • Rihlat Said Mohamed (Ph.D. in Anthropology, Lecturer in Comparative Human Biology, Department of Archaeology, University of Cambridge)
