The next MIT-Africa Interest Group Meeting (MAIG) will focus on representations of Africa in the media and an interrogation of the “Africa Rising” narrative. Amah Edoh, Assistant Professor of African Studies at MIT, will present, "'Wax is the new black’: Creative practice, global inclusion, and Africa Rising." The presentation series “Africa by Africans” will continue, led by Associate Professor Clapperton Chakanetsa Mavhunga. Please RSVP here.
