Interested in graduate studies in the Humanities, Mathematics, Social Sciences, and Education? The Institute for Recruitment of Teachers (IRT) addresses the lack of diversity in the nation’s teaching faculties by recruiting outstanding students of color and other scholars committed to diversity, counseling them through the graduate school application process, and advocating for sufficient funding for advanced study. IRT graduates have enjoyed remarkable success securing jobs as K-12 teachers, counselors and principals, as well as professors, university administrators and leaders. Harvard has had an outstanding record of matriculating students via the IRT. Join this information session to learn how IRT offers up to 12 fee-waivers for graduate school, free GRE prep, and one-on-one academic counseling! For additional information, contact: Trent Kajikawa, current HGSE Master's student, trk297@mail.harvard.edu; Andrew Nalani, current HGSE Master's student, nalaniandre@gmail.com; or Kate Slater, Recruitment and Admission Program Specialist at IRT,kslater@andover.edu
