Maria Tatar is the John L. Loeb Professor of Germanic Languages and Literatures and Folklore and Mythology at Harvard University. A frequent contributor to NPR, The New Yorker, and The New York Times, she is currently at work on a volume of African-American Folktales. She will be presenting on, "Who Killed Brer Rabbit?: True Lies in a Silenced Culture".
