Forensic Paleoanthropology and the Site of Malapa, South Africa

March 21 @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm

Dr. Pokines, Assistant Professor in the Department of Anatomy and Neurobiology at Boston University, will present “Forensic Paleoanthropology and the Site of Malapa, South Africa,” about his work to determine cause of death using forensic analysis of fossil specimens of Australopithecus sediba found in a cave. New information about how these early human ancestors died can provide insight into how they lived.
