Confronting Genocide

A day of foundational learning, reflection, and gaining tools to teach about genocide and reparations in Rwanda and Namibia. K-12 educators will: - Explore key concepts and country-specific histories, - Hear first-hand testimonies from genocide survivors - View a special movie screening of Coexist and access the Teacher's Guide - Access tools and curriculum resources available The first fifteen teachers who attend in-person will receive a FREE 2-year licence for the updated curriculum Confronting Genocide from the Choices Program. Teachers will also receive copies of the documentary Coexist from the Upstander Project. The link to attend on Zoom is below.
