Join the Boston University African Studies Center in celebrating Africa @BU in conjunction with BU's Alumni Weekend festivities. At 3pm, the Center will host the inaugural Bradford Morse Alumni Lecture with alumnus Peter Alegi, Professor of History at Michigan State University, entitled "African Sport: Colonialism, Independence, Globalization." Not an alumni? Not a problem. All are welcome.
The African Studies Center's Annual Fall Reception will immediately follow the talk. Enjoy dinner, hors d'oeuvres, and an open bar at this take on a traditional goat roast to celebrate the inaugural Bradford Morse Alumni Lecture and welcome Fallou Ngom as the new Director of the African Studies Center.
