Awake is a 2-part performance series by Nigerian Poet Andrew Patience (AP), African American poet Amanda Shea and Haitian-American poet Ashley Rose. It is a series of Afrocentric and conscious poetry enhanced by meditative and African cultural music. Awake explores poems on Africa, gender and spirituality.

The show seeks to explore the role of art as both a revolutionary and spiritual tool for social justice and spiritual awakening in humans. Its goal is to utilize the tool of poetry in telling unapologetic stories about Africa on one hand, and on the other awakening the consciousness of people in light by bringing healing and love to everyone present in the room.
