 The Carpenter Center is fortunate to have an impressive and wide-ranging group of artists working across photography, participatory and performance-based practices, painting and drawing, and video teaching in the Department of Art, Film, and Visual Studies (AFVS). Join them at 7:00 pm EST for two presentations by artists and visiting faculty members to the Department of Art, Film, and Visual Studies, Young Joo Lee and Akosua Adoma Owusu.

 Akosua Adoma Owusu is a Ghanaian-American filmmaker and producer whose films have screened worldwide in prestigious film festivals, museums, galleries, universities and microcinemas since 2005.

 Young Joo Lee is a multimedia artist from South Korea. Her work deals with personal narratives about her experiences of being an immigrant in Europe and the US, a woman, and a cultural nomad.
