Corinne Kratz is Professor Emerita, Department of Anthropology and Institute of African Studies at Emory College. Kratz will be presenting “The Case of the Recurring Wodaabe: Visual Obsessions in Globalizing Markets.”The discussant will be Peter Probst, Professor and Chair at the Department of Art History, Tufts University.A week in advance, the presenter’s paper will be circulated through the [Harvard African Studies Workshop listserv.](https://lists.fas.harvard.edu/mailman/listinfo/africaworkshop-list) It is assumed that everyone has read the paper before the workshop. After presentation and commentary, Workshop attendees are invited to engage in critique and discussion, under the moderation of the Workshop Chairs.
