African Education Initiative Lunch and Learn

The African Education Initiative at the Harvard Graduate School of Education will present "Women, Entrepreneurship, and Education." Speakers include:

Naseemah Mohamed (A.B. '12), a former Rhodes Scholar at the University of Oxford. Ms. Mohamed is the Africa Programs Director of Cultural Agents at Harvard University. Whilst an undergraduate at Harvard College, she served as President of the Harvard African Students Association.

Ndidi Nwuneli (MBA '99), a serial Nigerian social entrepreneur. Ms. Nwuneli is a Partner with Sahel Capital, an agribusiness private equity firm, as well as co-founder of AACE Foods, an agro-processing company. In 2011, Forbes listed her as one of 20 Young Powerful African Women. In 2004, she was named a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum. Two years prior, she established LEAP Africa, a non-profit organization.

Both alumna will discuss their experiences as a African women leaders and the trends in education on the continent.
