Globally, interest in African fashion, fine art, and other expressions of cultural heritage continue to grow. This popularity has created numerous avenues for the international community to learn more about the cultures of the continent; and for African communities to ceate livelihoods and facilitate economic development through the expansion of cultural industries. Yet, with these new opportunities, questions regarding protecting the intellectual property of various cultural groups, to preserve the authenticity of their heritage and to ensure that they receive the economic benefits of cultural industries has arisen. join us for a conversation with Adams & Adams as we explore these themes.
