### **CAS Space Overview**

Harvard students and faculty may book CAS spaces for their Africa-related events and meetings on weekdays from 9am-8pm. Advanced notice (minimum of two weeks) is required to reserve a space for an event or meeting. Due to the Center's busy event schedule during the academic year, availability is limited. We recommend reaching out at least one month prior to an event to inquire about availability. Designated CAS staff members or student volunteers must be available to support the event.

#### **CAS Lounge** 

The Lounge is an ideal space for small to medium sized events. While the space is free to book, a facilities fee may be required if we need to make changes to the furniture layout. The Lounge can hold up to 80 people for a social event and up to 65 people for a lecture-style, seated event. External catering is permitted!

#### **CAS Meeting Spaces**

The CAS Lounge is open from 9am-5pm on weekdays during the academic year. During our regular opening hours when the space is not reserved for events, students and faculty are welcome to use CAS for meeting and study spaces without reservations. The CAS Conference Room (capacity 15) is a private meeting space and can also be available by reservation only. Please note that faculty wishing to book the CAS Conference Room or Seminar Room for classes must contact the registrar.
