Invisible Thread, the musical formerly known as Witness Uganda, will open Off Broadway at Second Stage Theatre on Friday, October 31st and run through December 27th. Diane Paulus, the Terrie and Bradley Bloom Artistic Director of the American Repertory Theater (A.R.T) at Harvard University, will direct the production. Written by Matt Gould and Griffin Matthews, the story, inspired by true events, tells the story of a young American named Griffin who travels to Uganda to work as a volunteer. His experiences in Uganda are made up of unexpected twists and turns, leading to significant personal growth and change.

The cast, which includes Matthews, also features Melody Betts, Rodrick Covington, Kevin Curtis, Tyrone Davis Jr., Nkrumah Gatling, Latrisa Harper, Jason Herbert, Aisha Jackson, Michael Luwoye, Corey Mach, Tiffany Mann, Jeremy Pope, Jamard Richardson, Adeola Role, Conor Ryan and Jamar Williams.
