Africa Week
Africa Week at Harvard is an annual event that aims to celebrate and foster cultural and intellectual awareness about the African continent. The week includes multiple Africa-related seminars, celebrations and a conference sponsored by graduate student groups.
March 24 – April 7, 2012 is:
Africa Focus Fortnight
(organized by the Harvard African Students’ Association)
These two weeks give you the chance to meet Africans on campus, and celebrate the cultural diversity of the continent through music, dance, fashion, sports, food and games.
Come to one or more of the many events we’ll be having over the fortnight and get a taste of what 56 countries have to offer. The events culminate in our biggest event of the year:
Africa Night: Traditionally Modern, which will be held Saturday, April 7th at the Agassiz Theater at 7 PM
*Please see Calendar for a complete list of this year’s events!
