DudleyFest, hosted by the Graduate School of Arts and Science (GSAS), is a day of events to kick off Harvard students' experience by providing the opportunity for students to connect with important services, resources, and people. President Drew Faust and Faculty of Arts and Sciences Dean Mike Smith will join GSAS Dean Xiao-Li Meng to formally welcome students.The Center for African Studies will be at DudleyFest to welcome new students and provide information about the many opportunities and resources that the Center has to offer. Come say hello!

The Harvard University Center for African Studies compiles Africa-related seminars, workshops, events, and conferences taking place in Cambridge, Boston, and Johannesburg, South Africa. We also include virtual Africa-related events and activities that are free and open to the public. The Center for African Studies will consider requests to host, coordinate, sponsor, or co-sponsor Africa-related events only if the event is supported by one of our faculty affiliates.

The Center for African Studies will consider requests to host, coordinate, sponsor or co-sponsor Africa-related events only if the event is supported by one of our faculty affiliates. Event requests should be sent to the Associate Director by the sponsoring faculty member .
