African Studies Workshop featuring Nkatha Kabira

Nkatha Kabira is a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Hutchins Center and a Teaching Assistant at the Department of African and African American Studies at Harvard University and at Harvard Extension School. Kabira will be presenting "Commissionizing Governance in Kenya."The discussant will be George Paul Meiu, assistant professor in the Department of African and African American Studies and the Department of Anthropology at Harvard University.A week in advance, the presenter’s paper will be circulated through the Harvard African Studies Workshop listserv. It is assumed that everyone has read the paper before the workshop. After presentation and commentary, Workshop attendees are invited to engage in critique and discussion, under the moderation of the Workshop Chairs.
